Backpedaling Keeper of Revised 'Truths', Nithyananda, Required to Embellish His Story (Again)

The Backpedaling Swami: The Official Stories of Sri Nithyananda are Updated, But Still Do Not Add Up
Hi there, Sri Nithyananda. Have you been reading our blog? "I'm a Paramahamsa. I do not bother with such trivia." Oh, I see, there, Sri Nithyananda. But, just want to remind you that even Paramahamsas and so-called Paramahamsas still need to answer to the Truth. Why, you couldn't even answer our five, little chronological questions about your life-story. "The truth requires no embellishment". Yes, we saw that was your response in your Parallel Universe blog where everything gets turned up-side-down.

Well, Sri Nithyananda. Call it what you like, but we couldn't help but notice a slight revision or even a tiny embellishment, shall we say, of your 'Truths' that you wrote on your official Dhyanapeetam website? Do you, Sri Nithyananda, remember how you use to say that you wandered for nine to ten years the breadth of India and Nepal? "Ah, hmmm, oh, yeah." Yes, Sri Nithyananda, you should remember all of that, for you wrote it in all of your books and we heard it over and over again in your lectures. Let's take a look. Here, in my copy of Glimpses of My Master, Nithyananda (first 'first' edition) in December 2005, you mention on page 83 that you, Sri Nithyananda:

“traveled over 30,000 kilometers over 8 to 10 years.”

In most lectures, we hear you usually just say that your wandered for nine years. So, we'll take nine years as the given default 'Truth' that has been accepted as your standard story.

But, wait, what's this here, Sri Nithyananda? On your website, www.dhyanapeetam.org, on this URL:

http://srianandeshwaratemple.dhyanapeetam.org/founder.html

(also available with an attractive wrapper at this URL:

http://srianandeshwaratemple.dhyanapeetam.org/

and then, click on 'founder' link to get the whole nested iframe experience)

we have this information:

Nithyananda would often meditate all night long in the cremation grounds of Tiruvannamalai, absorbed in the vibrant silence of Arunachala, and at the break of dawn, he would return home. During his teenage years, after a profound cognitive shift in his understanding through an encounter with a Siddha in Thiruvannamalai, the urge which he had since childhood, to leave home as a sannyasi, reached its peak. After completing his diploma in Mechanical Engineering at Gudiyattam, Nithyananda made the final resolve to set out on his spiritual journey as a wandering ascetic. He embarked on what was to be an arduous journey, stretching thousands of miles covered mostly by foot, over a period of 6 years, traversing the land of Bharat. From Tapovan in the Himalayas to Kanyakumari in the South, from Dwaraka in the West to Ganga Sagar in the East, Nithyananda wandered for several years in India and in Nepal, practicing intense austerities and studying with many sadhus.

Sri Nithyananda, did you see that? You wrote a 6, as in six years. Not nine, eight or ten years as you have done in the past. Wow, Sri Nithyananda, you seem so blessed that you even found a shortcut to your shortcut formula for 'enlightenment'. Wow, that truly burnishes up your credentials. We bet the line to receive your energy darshan is getting longer by the minute now.

Not to get side tracked, Sri Nithyananda, but we also found it interesting that on the same web page, you mention about often meditating all night long in the 'cremation grounds' which is the same as graveyard or cemetery right? Wow, of all the places to pick to meditate, you had to choose the cremation grounds. There are caves, forest, temples, riverbanks, rooftops, etc. Some yogis even chose train stations to do meditations. But, your choice place of meditation, Sri Nithyananda, is the cremation grounds. [Readers, please see our post, "Nithyananda Spreads His Tantric Bliss - This is NOT Lord Shiva" and "Nithyananda & Graveyard Enlightenment".] We hope that you, Sri Nithyananda, made it to the temple now and then to balance out your spirituality.

Back to your reduced years of wandering from nine (9) years to now six (6) years, can we call this reduction Nithyananda nLite™? Sorry, there, Sri Nithyananda, since we called you on your impossible timetable to enlightenment, we imagine that revising your past was the logical thing to do. But, now that you made the revision, we hate to be killjoys, but your story still doesn't add up. For the time being, we'll forget the fact that you were only twelve when you attended the polytechnic in Gudiyattam, Tamil Nadu, and were fifteen when even the Rajagopal Polytechnic College stated on their website that you left their school. But, we will hold it to you that you were just seventeen (17) when you left your parents' place to start wandering (Nithyananda Vol. 1, revised first edition, December 2006 p. 181, YouTube Video, "Biography - Paramahamsa Nithyananda" @ 7:57, YouTube Video, "Paramahamsa Nithyananda - Early Childhood Chronicles" @ 12:13). And, you make it a well-advertised 'Truth' that you received your final stage of 'enlightenment' on January 1, 2000, when you were 22 years old. Sri Nithyananda, this seems like deja vu all over again, but what is 22 years of age minus 17 years of age. Why according to my calculator it is just five (5) years of wandering. Not six (6) years of wandering. Now since you got your 'enlightenment' on January 1, 2000, did that means that if you started your wandering after January 1, then does that mean that your total years of wandering is even less than five (5) years? So, if you started your wandering in July, then that reduces your wandering to just four-and-a-half (4.5) years. So, perhaps, Sri Nithyananda, your revisions could use some revising?

Oh, Sri Nithyananda, maybe we're not being very culturally sensitive to this whole age concept of yours. We understand that in South India, Tamil Nadu to be exact, that when people turn a certain age, and then after a bit of time, they no longer consider themselves that age for they have past that milestone. So, if you had your sixteenth (16th) birthday in 1994, and after a few weeks, you could consider that you reached that age, and now you were 'reaching' the next milestone of your seventeenth (17th) birthday. In many western countries, they consider this 'going-on-17' just like in that song from the movie "The Sound of Music". So, if you started your wandering perhaps in mid January 1994, which was just a few weeks after your celebrated birthday of January 1, and then reached your 'enlightenment' on January 1, 2000, then voila! your revised years of wandering 'fit' your story. You Sri Nithyananda, are then able to fit six years of wandering into five years of living. Specifically, this means that you started wandering at 'age 17' and at age 22 in the year 2000, you achieved six (6) years of wandering. Amazing. Technically, you're off by a couple of weeks, but no one should really split hairs over that. And, best of all, your cash-donating-believers and cult-recruiting-acharayas (teachers) can go on believing in you, Sri Nithyananda, as being 'Truthful' after your revisions. Cognitive harmony has been restored.

But, wait, Sri Nithyananda, in your book, Nithyananda Vol. 1, (the second) first edition December 2006 (yes, Sri Nithyananda, as we sure your are able to remember, this is the revised first edition that you had to replace your recalled first first edition of December 2005) on page 177, you had placed a date, or more specifically, a year of 1995. Here is the sentence:

"Back in 1995, when he (Sri Nithyananda) was ready to leave home, no one knew who he was."

Ah, shucks. Sri Nithyananda, you did a great job of leaving out dates in that revised self-autobiography, but looks like you let one slip. But, now we know that your revised wandering years happened sometime in 1995 until January 1, 2000. So, that is at most five (5) years of wandering, but most likely just four-and-a-half (4.5) years of that carefree living.

So, Sri Nithyananda, would you mind if we add to your exalted titled of 'Enlightened' Healing Master and Backpedaling Keeper of Revised 'Truths'? We think there's a nice ring to that.

And, Sri Nithyananda, we're also all wondering which story are you going to revise next? Are you going to revise your wandering years from the already reduced six-years-of-wandering or are you going to change your start date of wandering from 1995 to 1994? We'll wait for the next round of embellished 'Truths'. In the meantime, Sri Nithyananda, perhaps you can set up an online gambling site to let your followers bet on which 'Truth' will be revised next. You can say that "All proceeds will go toward erecting a big stadium so more 'Truths' can be given and then corrected to even more people."

Guinness World Book of Record Holder: Nithyananda as Youngest Polytechnic Student

Boy Genius Nithyananda Attends Polytechnic at Tender Age of Twelve
Hi there, Sri Nithyananda. Wow, we need to thank a blogger called 'Transforming1' on November 23, 2009 from the Guruphiliac Forum who tipped us off that the polytechnic school associated with you is the Rajagopal Polytechnic College, in Gudiyattam, Tamil Nadu. And, look, right there on their website:

http://www.rajapoly.org/

is a picture of you, Sri Nithyananda, OK, you have to wait about a minute before the Flash animation scrolls up but, trust us, your head pops out from down below and there are these words:

"Alumini of our college is feeding noon meal to poor and needy students."

[ Then an old, but dashing low-res scanned picture of you, Sri Nithyananda, creeps up from below the surface, just like in one of those Ed Wood horror movies. ]

"-As an Alumini,Swamiji Nithyanantha has donated magnanimously
Rs.100000 (Rupees One Lakh) for Noon Meal Scheme
Each year he used todonate huge sum whole heartedly. We proudly register here that he is our Old student, did his Mechanical Engineering(1990-1993."

"He handed over the cheque to our principal in person."

Sri Nithyananda, does Rajagopal Polytechnic College offer courses on English and web site design? And, Sri Nithyananda, is that how you spell your name? Wow, Sri Nithyananda, we never guessed. We mean that you take every opportunity to brag about everything that supports your super-natural god-like-state-of-everything including getting the highest marks in the class (Formless in Form p. 29) Anyway, we know you like to brag, so we're just shocked that you passed up this opportunity to say that you were just a tender age of twelve when you attended the polytechnic school. Let's see if we have this right. You, Sri Nithyananda, were born January 1, 1978. And, the website confirms that you attended from 1990 to 1993. So, 1990 minus 1978 and we get 12-years-of-age.

Wow, Sri Nithyananda, Rajagopal Polytechnic College in Gudiyattam was nice enough to provide the information when you left the school, which was 1993. So, that means you were there for three (3) years. And, must be a proud degree holder. But, Sri Nithyananda, when we fit this into your time line, it still doesn't add up. Let's see, if you started your wandering in 1993 and got enlightenment on January 1, 2000. Why that's just six and a half years (6.5) of wandering and not the full nine (9) years of wandering you always claim. But, wait, there's more. In your book Glimpses of My Master, Nithyananda, original first edition December 2005, page 157, you, Sri Nithyananda, said that you left your parents' house in Thiruvannamalai at age 17 to start your wandering experience. How old were you, Sri Nithyananda when you 'graduated' from the polytechnic school? Let's see, 1993 minus 1978, that makes you a tender age of fifteen. So, after getting the certificate that you are a super-genius for completing the engineering program with the highest grade - a 'Distinction' from the Rajagopal Polytechnic College in Gudiyattam (The Formless in Form, p. 29), did you, Sri Nithyananda crash at your parents' pad for two years, visited graveyards, and hung out at the back of bowling alleys? When you got tired of that, did you, Sri Nithyananda, decide to start your wandering? So, this model doesn't quite make sense... but at least now we have some new 'concrete' dates.

Sri Nithyananda, when are your dedicated bloggers of the parallel universe going to answer our simple questions about your time line? It should be very easy to do. In fact, once your version from La-La Land gets posted, we will no longer be able to speculate what new fantasies will manifest themselves. So, we hate to spoil our own fun, but your information will end all of our speculation. Until then, we'll have a field day, at your expense, of course.

OK, Sri Nithyananda, what was your secret in getting accepted in the polytechnic at such a young age? Did you cover you body in holy ash so no one could tell you were just a twelve-year-old? Or did you transform into some super-hero like the time you once claimed that you became Swami Ayyappa to your teacher? (Formless in Form p. 22). Hey, Sri Nithyananda, have you ever thought about wearing a cape and some tights? And, perhaps some cute little orange boots? Sri Nithyananda, you already have that Osho logo with the swan on it. That could be the emblem you place on your chest; you would be all set. We bet the ladies would really fall for you in that get up. Anyway, these scenarios for you getting into the Rajagopal Polytechnic College in Gudiyattam are not that likely, even for an 'enlightened' healing master like you, Sri Nithyananda.

Come to think of it, it must have been a bit hard for you to have all those experiences in Thiruvannamalai while attending the polytechnic in Gudiyattam at the same time. Didn't you, Sri Nithyananda, claim to have that 360 vision at the age of twelve at Arunachala Hill in Thiruvannamalai? Were you on summer vacation at the time, for that happened in May? And, what about all those other stories with you allegedly palled around with Mataji Kuppammal and circumventing Arunachala Hill for a few months everyday, etc. And, what about those stories in high school, you, know, Senior Secondary School, Standards IX to XII? We already mentioned one of them about how your teacher became your devotee after you transformed into Lord Ayyappa. Did do an accelerated program and completed Standards IX to XII at age eleven? Wow, that would be enlightening. Do you have any proof of this? Why didn't you mention this wonderful achievement before? Ah, we get it, Sri Nithyananda, you're just one of those modest types.

So, Sri Nithyananda, how did you get all of these experiences at age twelve? Did you commute from and hurried back to have all of those experience? "Aghhhhh", Sri Nithyananda, our Gruntanese translator can't figure out if you mean 'yes' or 'no'. Anyway, we just checked on Google Maps.

Google Map from Thiruvannamalai to Gudiyattam, Tamil Nadu

And, Google Maps says that it takes 1 hour and 50 minutes in optimal conditions to commute from Thiruvannamalai to Gudiyattam. Now if you are taking public transportation, then that would increase your commute by at least 30 minutes. (Perhaps as much as an hour and a half, but we'll give Sri Nithyananda a break.) If you had to walk to the bus station from your house in Thiruvannamalai, that adds on at least another 15 minutes (minimum) and probably the same with getting to the polytechnic in Gudiyattam. Add the wait time for a bus and your looking at least two and a half hours minimum from door to door, that would mean five hours every day, but most likely even more. Wow, Sri Nithyananda, no wonder you never had time to study.

So, Sri Nithyananda, we hate to call you on these inconvenient discrepancies about all these confusing dates, but we would like to perhaps offer an explanation to why these dates just don't match. We already know, that you, Sri Nithyananda, really have a thing about looking youthful, you know, your appearance and image. So, we imagine that the temptation to fudge it a bit is always there. Now, we have seen a government issued documentation that really states that your birth day is on March 13, 1977. Wow, that's nine months before you said that you 'descended' down to this planet, but we know that in India, the date of birth records are not always so exact, and that that difference alone wouldn't raise too many eye brows in the Indian legal system.

If you want to cheat on a handwritten document and fudge it a bit, probably the easiest number to 'transform' into another number would be the number '2'. With a similar pen stroke and a slash in the middle, you can make a '2' into a '7'. Let's, Sri Nithyananda, do an academic experiment. Let's say you were born in 1972 and changed the 2 into a 7, so you can claim that you were born in 1977. Is this what happened? So, let's go back and see if you were born on 1972, does this fit the evidence, Sri Nithyananda? Hey, that works, you would then be 18 when you entered the Rajagopal Polytechnic College, in Gudiyattam, Tamil Nadu, and attended your engineering program. But, wait, if you stayed until 1993, then that would have made you 21 when you started your wandering. So, we imagine that perhaps shortly after attending the Engineering Program, that you got bored and flunked out. Maybe it was an all-boys school back then, so the extracurricular activities were a bit limited in scope. After disappointing everyone, then it made sense for you, Sri Nithyananda, to leave home wandering rather than be a slacker at the graveyard. Of course that meant that you were at least 18 or maybe even 19 when you left home, but at least you could have gotten your 9.5 years of wandering in before you experienced your alleged 'ultimate' experience of 'enlightenment' on January 1, 2000. If that revised date of 1972 held true, Sri Nithyananda, then that would make you now 37-years-of-age, almost 38. That might explain that clump of gray hairs you had a few years back and why you now look so middle aged these days.

Now, admittedly, we don't have any hard proof of this theory, but we do see the dates you allegedly attended at the Rajagopal Polytechnic College, in Gudiyattam, Tamil Nadu, and saw your copy of the government documentation that had your 'other' date of birth on it. So, that means in order to keep this legend up, the Rajagopal Polytechnic College, in Gudiyattam had to be a willing partner to make sure that you were 'credited' and a 'graduate'. Are there any clues to what might motivate them to do such an act of educational transgression? Oh, back to Rajagopal Polytechnic College, in Gudiyattam website:

http://www.rajapoly.org/

we see right there that it said that you helped "feeding noon meal to poor and needy students." and that you, Sri Nithyananda "handed over the cheque to our principal in person." For the amount of "Rs.100,000 (Rupees One Lakh)." This comes out to a little over two thousand US dollars. (On December 7, 2009 that as $2,145.69. Why that wasn't very much, Sri Nithyananda, in exchange for keeping your myth alive. Why that's not even half of what your charge for the 'Inner Awakening' program. Did you have a more private 'under the table' ceremony during your visit? We suppose that the Rajagopal Polytechnic College, in Gudiyattam did get to place your picture, Sri Nithyananda, on their website, so now it is a famous 'in demand' place that young people can attend and feel your energy on perhaps one of the chairs there. We're sure that you will draw in new recruits like hotcakes, there, Sri Nithyananda, unless of course, you go to jail sometime for all of your crimes, then we imagine that the Rajagopal Polytechnic College, in Gudiyattam, probably will remove your picture from their website.

Once again, we do not have any hard proof of any of these allegations, but obviously something fishy is happening here. So, for all of you investigative journalists, you might want to pay a visit to the Rajagopal Polytechnic College, in Gudiyattam, and see the poor students being feed their noontime meal. If nothing is happening, then we're sure you will hear something like "Eka Dasi" (a traditional fasting day) or the chef is sick. If you're persistent enough and make an appointment, then the chances are high you will be treated to watch all the staff eat a meal and hear complaints about the low pay of working at a polytechnic. Why you are there, you might want to check the records of Sri Nithyananda, then probably known as Rajasekaren, and see exactly how old this boy genius was when he attended the Rajagopal Polytechnic College, in Gudiyattam, for his engineering certificate. Sri Nithyananda just might have been a little bit older than twelve. There's only one way to find out.

Nithyananda Turns Away Those In Need Out of Greed

Nithyananda has the Compassion of a Sex-Starved Boa Constrictor
Hi there, Sri Nithyananda. We just watched some of the YouTube clips about your autobiography and wow, you sure do seem like a genuine Paramahamsa. With all those bright lights and onlookers, you just go out of your way to radiate compassion. No wonder you're so successful. Sri Nithyananda, is there a price for this success? "I make everyone pay. Is that what you mean my price?" Well, actually no, there, ah, Sri Nithyananda. That is not what we meant, but wow, that was a great self-disclosure. In fact, someone from Toronto just emailed us this story about you earlier today. Here, have a look:

On Friday, December 11, 2009 at 5:23 a.m. P.S.T. Anonymous said...
A sweet story of compassion from so called Nithyananda monks oh sorry monkeys..

During his first visit to toronto there is a family who has a small little cute boy with life threatening cancer. Volunteers in toronto tried best to accomodate them for free for kalpataru programme as they did not have any money left and belonged to poor family. They had immense faith in Masters and that turned them to put a request to nithyananda organisation. Mr Bhaktananda...famously called as " ROWDY SWAMI" denied entry and finally the family with other volunteers help had to borrow money and let the family in for just a 2 second darshan. The boy could not sit for the whole day...and what the family just asked for two second darshan for free.....But The so called compassionate monks..oh again sorry monkeys charged 200.00$ for a 2 second darshan....IS THIS COMPASSION FOR NITHYANANDA ORGANISATION. The monks including Bhaktananda are monsters who only talk about money in each meeting, they are concerned about only numbers how much people paid for programmes. Rightly They are called as "ROWDY SWAMIS".

Please stay away from this rowdy swamis.....

Well, Sri Nithyananda, what do you have to say about that? "I wasn't aware." What? You, Sri Nithyananda, were not aware? Don't you give the impression that you know everything about everyone at every single moment? That all your minions wouldn't even think about killing a spider unless they have your approval (actual story)? So, how can you say that you, Sri Nithyananda, didn't know? Don't say that it was their 'karma'; you said yourself that an 'enlightened' healing master can change someone's karma just be moving his or her foot. We agree. We seen you change someone's karma just by moving your foot. Being kicked, and by such a stinky foot as yours, is not what we consider good karma, but it does change someone's karma. But, we digress. Sri Nithyananda, somehow we are not surprised by this antic, but are still sadden. It shows that you, Sri Nithyananda, have all the compassion of a sex starved boa constrictor.

You seem to want to squeeze the last drop of money, time, or life-force from everyone. Very cold-blooded indeed. When will this nonsense stop?

Nithyananda's Parallel Universe is Ignorant, Therefore Not Bliss

The Bloggers of La-La Land Evade Our Five Questions
Hi there Paramahamasa Nithyananda. I see that your Parallel Universe of fantasy blogging continues to ignore reality with your latest post title "Ignorance is Not Bliss". We just wanted to have our five very simple questions about your life story answered that should be so easy for someone like you to answer in less than three minutes. [new to this blog?, please see post "Do the Math - Nithyananda's Enlightenment Timeline Doesn't Add Up"] But, oh, did you do this? "I don't know what those bloggers did." Nice try there, Sri Nithyananda. We know that nothing happens unless you give the orders directly from you to do so including filing false allegations accusing others of crimes they never did. Did you know, Sri Nithyananda, that if called to court, your little prank could earn your programmed liars many years in a federal prison? I'm sure you would make time in your busy schedule to come and visit them, because you have so much compassion. Perhaps the Anna Datta (head chef) is perfecting the art of cooking files into cakes right now.

Anyway, we really are not interested in your worthless threats. We are interested in our five questions:

1. What was the exact day, time, and year you, Sri Nithyananda, were born?
2. When did you finish your public education, e.g. Senior Secondary School (i.w. high school), Standards IX to XII? What year, what grade level, and how old were you?
3. What years (from when to when) did you attend the three-year polytechnic in Engineering? Did you graduate?
4. When did you leave home to start your nine-years of wandering? How old were you and what year was that?
5. Where (exact place) did you reach your final stage of enlightenment that you claimed happened on January 1, 2000?

Sorry for all of the repetition. Sometimes it takes several times before those who reside in the parallel universe of La-La Land can begin to see reality. There is hope though, if they stand on their heads and talk backwards, there's a chance that Truths can begin to seek in. That might be too much to ask for. Oh, by the way, our readers to have some additional questions asked. You will probably ignore these too, because they might upset your La-La Land tranquility. But, there just might be the chance that you're standing on your head now, so here's our reader's choice:

* How much money was colleted and what are the plans for the Shiva Lingas that were to be placed around your Vedic Temple in Montclair?

And, from Canada, we have some specific questions about stuff you, Sri Nithyananda, promised, collected, and never delivered:

1. Why money is collected in name of programmes called Nithyananda Youth Foundation when there is no such charitable organisation in Canada?
2. What is the a/c number and in which bank they have openend a/c for temple project?
3. What is the amount collected?
4. What is the blue print of the temple?
5. Where is the land in which temple is being built?

You see, Sri Nithyananda, the problem is this. If you're going to take the strategy of hiding behind Vedic Culture and build big, beautiful temples, with big, big, big deities, that's fine. And, if people can see you do that, it will be easier to cheat them, because they think you, Sri Nithyananda, are some big Holy man who would never do anything bad at all. But, your strategy can also backfires when you don't fulfill all of your promises or any of your promises at all. You see, these people believe in God much more than they believe in a con artist. And, when they feel that you cheated them via God or cheated God directly via them, wow, Sri Nithyananda, you might not get any Divali cards from them next year.

So, Sri Nithyananda, we know that you most likely hijacked all of their money and funneled it back to your ashram in India where you started all those big infrastructure projects like that big stadium. But, we thought we should ask you the readers' questions, just in case you were standing on your head.

For our Canadian readers, do not be discouraged. Luckily, you live in a free society that will not believe all the propaganda that Sri Nithyananda is 'enlightened' and that his word is divine. They will ask for proof, and if he fails, then Sri Nithyananda will be stuck in the center of trouble bubble. A good place to start asking the Canadian Government is the Canadian Revenue Agency. Don't worry. We'll dedicate a whole post with resources on how to file complaints in Canada.

Even though Sri Nithyananda's bloggers missed a chance to answer our five easy questions, and therefore, make themselves look like they are trying to cover something up that you, Sri Nithyananda, dug yourself into. (For those of you new to these posts, read: Do the Math - Nithyananda's Enlightenment Timeline Doesn't Add Up and then our new readers will know why we want these five questions asked.)

OK, we'll answer your post, Sri Nithyananda, this time. But you need to answer our five questions next time.

Let's see, on your post, 'IGNORANCE IS NOT BLISS' (love those CAPS). Yes, Sri Nithyanada, we agree with you. Keeping people ignorant about all the money you collected and not letting them know what happpened is neither blissful to the people you cheated or is it blissful to you, and perhaps it isn't even blissful to the IRS or Canadian Revenue Agency. Your blogger accuses us of filtering everything out. We post most of what we receive. If we don't agree, we usually have our rebuttal ready and then we post both together. Seeing how you have not posted a single comment, let me repeat, you have posted ZERO (0) comments, we're a bit surprised that your blogger could even mention this point. But, then again, when someone thinks that they are 'enlightened' and is following the orders of a self-proclaimed god, they are set up for all kinds of distortions.

Let's take a look at your blogger's post. Hmmm, we see that there is anger, issues, and dirty words. Yes, we heard this before from your blogger. More of the same. We get the ancient customs of dharma (righteousness), so your attempts to divide and rule fail again. If you're really interested in a lawsuit, please call us to court, and we'll tell everything we know including names, places, and activities. This is includes what you consider the sex crimes. We'll let the court decide. We will also file charges too. So, it could be very 'enlightening' process. We are ready. Just be sure your allegations have some merit, for if we can prove your side is lying about some serious stuff, the U.S. courts will not be amused. Let's leave it at that.

We see that your blogger did address your birth date as best as he or she could, and said:

"You ask specific questions about his birthday! Who do you think you are? What time were you born? Most of us don’t have a clue. It’s hard to get these records in America and in India, well Good Luck! Such minutia is just not important in India, hence the cultural difference. How Indians perceive things are different."

More divide and rule, Sri Nithyananda. We think that you, being an 'enlightened' healing master, could come up with a better way of skirting the issue. You provide conflicting times in your books, and must have had the time for your astrological reading that you brag so much about. But, Sri Nithyananda, we know that you know, and we'll keep on asking.

Then there's more of the same about justifying your overpriced programs and that it really is a bargain since the facilities received would have cost that much in the US. So, Sri Nithyananda, are you providing these people with a nice 3/2 bungalow? Are you familiar with anything called, Purchasing Power Index (PPI)? Yes, Sri Nithyananda, it would be nice to live in India and get paid in America. We think that you must have figured out how to do that. Genius. It must be a comfy stay in the center of La-La Land.

Once again, there's more of the same about the lack of sleep. Sri Nithyananda, your blogger mentions one study that says that it is a good thing not to have not much sleep. Your blogger goes on about his or her personal life and say, and that he or she feels great with just five-hours of sleep. Fine, Sri Nithyananda. We're glad your blogger feels fine with just five-hours of sleep. Sometimes that's all we get too. Some people need more sleep than that, and they should have the opportunity to have that sleep. Your blogger mentioned that 6.5 to 7 hours-of-sleep is healthy. Yes, let them have that, nightly.

We have big problems when you, Sri Nithyananda, have your ashramites work late into the night or keep them with your long and pointless meetings and then expect them to be bathed and meditating a few hours later while you sleep-in in the mornings like a baby. Didn't you, Sri Nithyananda, once make your ashramites in India go without sleep for two weeks while you jolted to the U.S. in August 2006? Our informants told us that you, Sri Nithyananda, gave your ashramites an incredible amount of work to do, and told them they can only sleep sitting up right in their chairs or at right at their work stations, not in their bunk-beds? Wow, Sri Nithyananda, you sure do know how to get the most out of your workers. Have you ever thought about running human productivity seminars for 'enlightened' dictators?

Just so that you are aware, Sri Nithyananda, there's plenty of studies that show that less than six-hours of sleep is bad for you. Here's one done by Stanford University:

http://www.usatoday.com/tech/science/2009-08-13-sleep-gene_N.htm

Here's what Google came up with for a search of "six hours of sleep". Just skimming the results, you will find that six hours of sleep is not enough.

Scarier yet, Wikipedia has some not-so-wholesome facts about Sleep Deprivation including death in lab animals:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_deprivation

Sri Nithyananda, you don't treat your ashramites like animals, do you? Are you sure you don't treat most of them like donkeys and a special few like fluffy little bunny rabbits?

The real point of mentioning the amount of sleep and lack of it is the psychological damage that sleep deprivation can cause. This is no minor point. Just look. Google has over 40,000 listings for the key words, "sleep deprivation brainwashing"

Sri Nithyananda, all this talk about sleep deprivation is getting tired. Let's just agree to disagree, and if anyone dies or becomes mentally unstable as a result of your 'meditative' sleep deprivation, you, Sri Nithyananda, are on your own. We are glad that you, Sri Nithyananda, a self-proclaimed Paramahamsa, already have a lawyer.

Sri Nithyananda, we agree with your blogger's comments about your blog:

"Nothing could be farther from the truth."

Spot on. Yes, that's life in your parallel universe. And, about that steamy topic about sex in the Ashram, (Hey, Sri Nithyananda, you can make a great TV series out of that, and once again raise some money for your charity. You do love to practice charity, right? Say, is Charity your new room service girl?) Once again, if we're called to court, under oath and penalty of perjury, we'll tell everything we seen and know with names, dates, and details. We do know that you, Sri Nithyananda, model your ashram after Osho (Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh), and we all know what he stood for. The only difference between you and him is that you layered your model with a veneer of holy dhoti cloth. But underneath it all, same thing going on.

OK, Sri Nithyananda, in your blog's next post, try to answer those five, simple chronological questions. Otherwise, we're going to have a really easy time making fun of you. Not that we have to make any effort as it is now.

Nithyananda Starts a New Parallel Universe Blog = Fantasy Land

Nithyananda's Bloggers Claim Cyber La-La Land
Wow, Paramahamsa Nithyananda, do you believe in parallel universes? You know, Sri Nithyananda, just like the sci-fi horror movies where something is truthful exists in the real world but in a parallel plane it becomes lies? Where something that express dharma (righteousness) becomes adharma (unrighteousness)? Where something is based on reality becomes garnished in La-La Land fantasy? Where something that was light and humorous becomes heavy and dull? Where something is written respectfully becomes caste as 'filthy'? "You should never question an 'enlightened' healing master. We work on a different plane." Yes, we agree, with you Sri Nithyananda. You work on different planes. In fact, here's the proof. As everyone knows, our blog is:

nithyananda-cult.blogspot.com

and your new parallel universe blog is:

nithyananda-cult-clarity.blogspot.com

Wow, Sri Nithyananda, looks like you must have admired our friend, Jody Radzik's blog of Guruphiliac. Same skin and everything. Will you be advertising some energy drinks on it too? That might help you collect some money for your charity work and those the free samples of those energy drinks will come in handy when all your sleep deprived ashramites need a pick-me-up.

OK, Sri Nithyananda, we accept that copying is the most sincere form of flattery, and we now officially feel flattered that you took the time and resources to help counter the influences that our blogs have caused and officially recognized that we have some serious questions and they need to be answered. Thanks for the clarity. (On a side note, is Clarity one of your new room-service girls? Did you name your blog after her?)

Sorry, Sri Nithyananda, for the distraction. So, could you, Sri Nithyananda, please answer these simple questions on your parallel universe blog so that we all have a very good idea where you stand and we no longer can guess or speculate? Don't worry, there just simple chronological questions with no tricks up our sleeves, promise. Can you, Sri Nithyananda, and your dedicated blogging team answer these questions:

Sri Nithyananda, answer these questions will be very helpful. We already mentioned some of these issues in a previous post on October 28, 2009, "Do the Math - Nithyananda's Enlightenment Timeline Doesn't Add Up", and well, we know that all true Paramahamsas are embedded in the Truth, so now that you have an official blog to voice your views on our blog, we would like to see a post address these specific, chronological questions. That shouldn't be too hard, unless of course you lied, and then you wouldn't be a true Paramahamsa that can charge all those outrageous prices for your workshop seminars. So, by answering these questions, Sri Nithyananda, your validity and marketing get a boost. And, if we're wrong with any of these calculations, we'll say, "Sorry." Promise.

And, Sri Nithyananda, could you please include the exact time of your birth? We're a bit confused. In your book, The Formless in Form, page 5, you wrote that you were born on 12:32 a.m., January 1, 1978. But in your other book, Glimpses of My Master, Nithyananda, first 'first' (original) edition December 2005 on pages 87-91 that you were born on January 1, 1978 at 0:30 (12:30 a.m.). I know, Sri Nithyananda, we're splitting hairs over just two measly minutes. But, why we really want to know the exact time of your birthday is that we can replicate that astrology chart that you said was done when the astrologers refunded all that cash to your family because they predicted that you would be a bona-fide sanyasi (monk). Since you didn't display this chart anywhere, like the Ramakrishna Mission displays Paramahamsa Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda's astrological chart, we thought we could do the same. That way if anyone had any questions, you could just add a link to our blog and then all their answers about whether or not you were 'the real McCoy' of a Paramahamas would be answered.

OK, Sri Nithyananda, we wait for your replies. In the meantime, we thought we would do a trans-cultural exchange and comment on your commentaries. Don't worry, Sri Nithyananda, we'll give you lots of back links that will help you in your search engine ratings.

Your post: Work IS meditation. Some don't get it!

Our reply: Well, we see that your blogger dude didn't add quote marks around his "a***"stericks, so we accept that we never said anything in that way. Well, thanks for letting us all know how you sell the fact that your slaves are really meditating and not just working all the time. You said that "I am surprised you call yourself an insider and are not aware of the daily meditation, yoga, puja/homa, chanting that all ashramites do." Yes, we are aware. In your LA ashram, not much happening except for work, work, work, and the person that had to start the sparsely attended 'guru pooja' in the morning. In the evening, some will make time (or actually have enough time in their busy schedule) to catch the Nithyananda version of arti at the Montclair Vedic Temple. Our insider experience in Bidadi Ashram, the morning version is usually well attended since there were coupons handed out for attendance. If someone missed the morning Nithya Dhyan Meditation in the morning, then that person got no lunch. Kind of reminded us of pigeons pecking for pellets in an animal experiment. We don't know if this practice is still continued or not.

And, yes, we agree, coming to the Ashram as an ashramite is hard work. Don't expect much sleep. We personally know people who didn't sleep for days at the ashram and one contact even fell asleep while driving the big Nithyananda commercial truck. Luckily, there were not accidents. That could have been the ultimate samadhi for many people.

Your concept of "Work is Meditation" (which we assume you also communicate that work brings 'enlightenment') reminded us of this statement:

Arbeit macht frei

is a German phrase meaning "work brings freedom". Yes, this statement was adorned on the Nazi Germany concentration camps. Our history books said that era also focused around a charismatic leader who liked to censor any criticism about himself.

And, all of that work being done all of the time without proper rest if done under the wrong leadership, would cause some serious brainwashing. This is the techniques used in lot of cults including Jonestown, Osho, the Mason Family, Shining Path, etc. Why wasn't sleep deprivation one of the techniques that the CIA was using on 'high quality' suspects in Guantanamo that was questioned if it was deemed as torture or not? So, we hope that Sri Nithyananda really has it right and monitors all those ashramites so they do not become mentally instable.

Anyway, I'm glad your blogger was able to write some nice things about getting rid of the fatigue layer by lack of sleep and working, working, working away. I just wander if all that work really is meditation and if they are really doing all of those other things, then why did so many of the ashramites get so bulky? We also have accounts of 'enlightened' followers threatening suicide. That doesn't sound very good to me. But, we're open to your points.

Your post: Incorrect information about Sanyasis on nithyananda-cult.blogspot.com

Our reply: Yes, we took an educated guess of the total of people who were ordained 'sanyasi - first level', you know, the folks wearing orange kavi (strip of holy cloth) cloth. We know that through the years there's been a lot of followers who were ordained on this level and then thought that Sri Nithyananda's brand of 'enlightenment' wasn't for them, so they left. This was particularly true in Nithyananda’s Bidadi Ashram. At one point, Sri Nithyananda got tired of the defection rate, so he made those 'ordained' sanysin (monk) go through a trial basis where they wore yellow (not saffron) kavi (strip of holy cloth) until they were officially 'ordained' and looked like they would stick around.

Some orders like the Ramakrishna Mission usually waits six to eight years before initiating someone into sanyasi (monk), for they want to make sure what person they get. Sri Nithyananda, a man in a hurry, ordained many, and some have actually stayed. Since we don't have access to the Nithyananda Foundation's statistics, we'll gladly post the number of people you want to give us as those who were officially ordained as 'sanysis' (monks). We honestly don't care. Our point then and our point now is that most of these people who were ordained were not qualified due to being married and other society obligations. In LA, there were several married couples that have been separated due to sanyasi (monk) initiation. Some seem very happy with the arrangements, others do not. In one occasion in July 2006, Sri Nithyananda pitted off one spouse against the other during the sanyasi initiation. One spouse wanted to become a senyasi (monk) the other wanted to remain a family life. In front of everyone, Sri Nithyananda constantly questioned the 'hold out' person whether it was 'Yes' or 'No' for that person's spouse to become a sanyasi (monk). If that person answered with 'Yes' there went the family. If that person answered with 'No' then the spouse would be non-forgiving. It was the most 'unspiritual' manipulation demonstration that Sri Nithyananda was abusing his powers and breaking up families. Regardless, we feel that it is wrong to break up families, but we cannot stop you. We'll just point it out, and express our opinion.

Your post: One common question: Why are the courses so highly priced?

Our reply: Your prices seem to be a bit distorted. We don't know how much your charging for the Life Bliss Program these days. At one point, it was $250.00 for the two-day program. Now, you say, "$100.00". OK, we'll accept that. We knew that in 2008 that in the Montclair Vedic Temple that Life Bliss Programs that charged $250.00 were only receiving a few (average around seven) participants. The market did not support the Life Bliss Program at $250.00, so if you dropped the price to $100.00 for the two-day program, that makes sense. After all, this is your 'feeder' introduction program, so it makes sense to do it at a lower costs. The most recent offering of the one-day Kalpataru Program in the U.S. was at $250.00 up from $150.00 which you quoted. That's a huge distortion. Will you then be offering a $100 refund to everyone who paid $250 for this program? That seems fair for over charging the participants. Your figures for accommodations of $60.00 per day is slightly out-of-alignment. If that was a decent hotel room, that would be fair. In actuality, a hanger-sized room of wall-to-wall bunk beds is a human fire hazard masquerading as a 'dorm'. Overcrowded prisons are not that bad. We hope that there are no casualties. The other cost-break-down seems just as distorted. Sri Nithyananda is not operating these courses at a loss. The big pay-off comes when people pledge a yearly 'donation' of ten percent of their gross income. We know that there's a lot of pressure to commit to that at the end of the program. And, the tours conducted, does that include the world famous 'graveyard' tour? We still feel that this is overpriced and just shows the lack of transparency that Nithyananda's organization has.

Your post: Nithyananda Cult Blog - Total Nonsense!

Our reply: My, oh, my. There is a tone on this post. Yikes. That blogger must have not had enough work, we mean meditation, that day. You say that we use 'filthy' language, but we see the 'cr@p' word. Perhaps you meant to write 'carp'? Because something sure smells fishy with Sri Nithyananda's operations. We guess when all else fails, try to discredit the Truths by character assault. Holy red herring. (Another fishy aspect.)

The blooger dude's comments show the commitment to this cult, and we'll respect that as much as we can. We just want to say that we have several contributors who were 'insiders' and know refute these claims. Could we please ask where are the funds for the Shiva Lingams that were promised and people contributed real money towards? And, yes, there's all kinds of pressure to change someone's name to the Nithyananda name especially if someone lives in the ashram. We have in our inbox the ultimatum that anyone receiving a Nithyananda name must change it legally within three months and show proof of this legal change or else the Nithyananda Foundation will take away the name. Just a reminder, six of the original twenty-five 'enlightened' followers have left Sri Nithyananda and no longer think his 'enlightenment' is worthy of his certification. We do give credit to Sri Nithyananda's marketing arm making something so horrible look almost attractive on paper. Bill Gates would be jealous. Oh, yes, the blogger dude wrote, "What's your problem whether he sits on a 24K gold throne or a diamond studded one? What do you know about the rich Vedic tradition...?" Yes, we all know which one of the two words "rich Vedic" Sri Nithyananda has emphasized.

Your Post: Perspectives on cults and the Nithyananda blissful cult-ure

Our reply: Well, it is interesting that you can bring up images of followers under Sri Nithyananda's leadership back to a more simpler and happier lifestyle of people like the Sherpas in Nepal, and the Inuit in Greenland and the Northern Canada. I admit that I do not know much about the Sherpas in Nepal, but I do know that the Divine Mother is big in Nepal, so perhaps She is looking after them and that they are genuinely happy. Perhaps it might be helpful if the blogger talked to Sri Nithyananda Dheera, who we have a lot of respect for. Sri Nithyananda Dheera lived with the Inuit and has some great stories of Inuit domestic violence and alcoholism. Sri Dheera witnessed one the son chasing the elderly parents with a knife in a slow motion-drunken-stupor while threatening to kill them. Regardless, anytime an organization tries to 'bring back' the values of a ‘golden age’ or an utopian society, we smell cult. This is exactly what Jonestown claimed to be doing, and we all know how that ended. Regardless, we appreciate your engaging tone, and we feel that we could better explain why Nithyananda and his organizations is a cult. We look forward to debating this with more depth.

Your post: The futile exercise of judging masters

Our reply: Yes, we are in agreement. It is a futile exercise of judging True masters, and true dharmic practice to expose fake maters who are not only diluting / hijacking the work of True masters, but causing so much pain of breaking up families, robbing people of their idenities, ending careers, causing divorces and separations, swindling people of their savings, etc., and offering preciously little in return, e.g. fake promise for enlightenment. Understand, this is not spirituality. This is fraud. Although there are current masters that we don't agree with 100 percent, we don't allow comments that judge these spiritual people. We see that these masters are offering good to society, and we'll just 'let them be'. But those that operate out of deceit and cheat people, we will expose. Just like calling out a wolf in sheep's clothing, Sri Nithyananda and his cult practices need to be exposed. Innocent sheep are being slaughtered and scattered. The work of Sri Nithyananda is not Divine and awareness needs to proliferate before more victims fall into his trap.

We look forward to more posts and honest debate from the parallel universe of nithyananda-cult-clarity.blogspot.com.

A Response to "Nithyananda, What Fraud??"

A Straight Response, Yes, Nithyananda is Fraud; Here's Why:
In contrast to most of our other posts, we will try a straightforward approach. After receiving a rather polite and engaging pro-Nithyananda message, we decided to post it and address the general concerns. Here's the posted comment:

What Fraud??
Nov 24, 2009 9:24 pm

I have been following your posts for sometime. I must say that you give the impression of being an ex-"insider" who knows more than he is saying. Be that as it may, I do not find any solid evidence of any kind to back up your contentions being put forward, and your conclusions appear to be contirived. I have been a devotee of the mission for the last 5 years and have never seen the kind of abuse and tyranny you speak of. The volunteers at Bidadi and LA whom I met (and continue to meet) are happy. Some amount of disciplining and harshness is part of the Guru-Shiksha parampara, maybe you should not over-stress it without specific evidence. In any case, a sadhna or spiritual journey is undertaken by each one for his own development, be it linked to empire or not. If people find the benefits coming to them, they stay, otherwise they leave. Its like the lamp that lights your path on a dark night. What do you see? the lamp (its colour, make etc) or the path? What do you respect more - the lamp or its light? Nithyananda has always said that if you have found your inner Guru, by all means follow him and go beyond the form of the Master. I do not want to get into involved spiritual wranglings. The truth he expounds is part of ancient wisdom, he is a powerful catalyst who can makes its relevance apparent to each one. Does it really matter who said it first - he or Osho or Ramakrishna or whoever? Don't we need only the light?

I don not know if you will publish this. Its my hope that you will...

Thanks and best wishes on your journey.

And our response:

Om Namah Shivaya,

Thanks anonymous for the post titled “What Fraud?”. We appreciate your seeking to understand and openness of dialog, and we will certain try to reply with the same respect that you have shown for us. We are glad that you are happy, and we acknowledge that you see others being happy and involved with Nithyananda’s order. We also recognize your point that it doesn’t really matter where someone gets their spiritual ‘nourishment’, whether that be from whole wheat bread or dahl (lentils), as long as they are able to grow. Yes, on one surface, we have to agree that it seems not worthy of disturbing happy people who are getting, as it seems, spiritual growth. If Sri Nithyananda were a spiritual teacher that taught with some purity, then we would wholeheartedly agree. We would close up shop and never bother with this blog. Even if there were points that we disagreed with that Sri Nithyananda did, as long as he held up the basic tenants of dharma (righteousness), we would recognize his grace and only receive our support.

Yes, you are right, we are insiders, and there are several of us. We came to Sri Nithyananda with trust, and to use your analogy, we have no issue with the lamp. But, we do have issue with the light that illuminates from this lamp. Instead of pure light, we found poisons gas, and therefore, we feel we must warn others and try to get those that are near this dangerous ‘light’ away. Yes, this does not make us very popular with those that under the ‘bliss’ of this lamp. At the end, it will be their choice to experience this deadly ‘light’ or not, but at least they can base their decisions after from hearing our findings, as unpleasant as it might seem to them at first.

To address some of your points, yes, we agree this statement:

If people find the benefits coming to them, they stay, otherwise they leave.

And, that has happened. Already six of the twenty-five followers who received Nithyananda’s first batch of ‘mass enlightenment’ have woken up and left. As the light of Truth hits the collective years of programming combined with the loyalty these followers shown by ‘donating’ their savings and years of service, there will be conflict. Their minds were in comfort zones, and now they are being questioned. This is true ‘churning’, and it is not just some humiliation that needs to be ‘swallowed’ as ego submission to the master. This struggle is their very beings fighting for existence.

The subject of your message was “What Fraud?”. Although we feel that we have been very clear in our past blogs, we welcome the chance to highlight what we consider to be fraud that Sri Nithyananda has done. First, we feel that Sri Nithyananda by borrowing other people’s works and claiming them as his own violates a standard of ethics. A true enlightened master would never plagiarize. There’s a red flag right there. Then, Sri Nithyananda uses his claim that he has ‘written’ all of these truths as a way to strengthen his claim that he is indeed enlightened. Red flag number two. This is much like the way that Sri Nithyananda has embellished his stories about himself, which we feel most if not all are fabricated. Red flag number three. The easiest ‘story’ to prove as being false is Sri Nithyananda’s claim of wandering for the nine-years that supposedly happen from 1995 to the January 1, 2000.

In defense of Sri Nithyananda’s claim for these nine years, one of his supporters commented in the Guruphiliac Forum, that Sri Nithyananda actually ‘wandered’ from 1994 to 2003, to account for the nine years. Well, if Sri Nithyananda’s wandering included ‘obtaining’ enlightenment, settling in his body in a cave for nine months, setting up his first ashram by the Kaveri River, moving his ashram to Bidadi, and in July 2003, arriving to the U.S. This just does not add up. We have sincere doubt to all of other Nithyananda stories, which include but not limited to carving a statue of Osho as his first act of enlightenment, graduating from a polytechnic school, his 360 degree meditation experience which still allows him to see from behind, etc. We really would like to believe Sri Nithyananda, but sadly, none of these stories make logical sense, and Sri Nithyananda’s validity of being grounded in sathya (truthfulness) is deeply in question.

Going back to Sri Nithyananda’s borrowed teachings, we also found a common trend of all of these ‘Truths’ to have certain embellishments added to them. Red flag number four. These embellishments consist of self-serving themes such as ‘only an enlightened master (him) can lead you to enlightenment’, ‘true devotion an the enlightened master will lead you to see a white bird as being black’ (ironically this seems very true to what actually does happen under Nithyananda’s sway), ‘never questioning anything about an enlightened master’, and ‘unclutching from all social relationships, careers, and families and then aligning oneself to the master’. If Sri Nithyananda was a software company, he would copy another company’s product and then add his own virus to it, and then sell it as his ‘own brand’. You might say that these Truths are universal and could be shared. That is a point. Mind you that other spiritual missions, in order to keep the knowledge of their past masters alive, need the revenues from the sale of these ideas, which Sri Nithyananda, has borrowed almost line-for-line. So, it could be said that Sri Nithyananda is draining these masters' resources. In addition, it seems that Sri Nithyananda does not use these Truths to help people grow, but uses them to ‘capture’ new recruits for either financial contributions or labor. We find this very troubling.

We also found that Sri Nithyananda claims that he can give mass ‘enlightenment’ and gladly sells that to his ‘devout’ followers through a series of expensive programs. Yes, we would all love to be enlightened. No doubt. Troubling to see that six of the first twenty-five close followers that Sri Nithyananda made ‘enlightened’ have left him for they no longer claim that Sri Nithyananda’s certificate of enlightenment was valid. The remaining 19 followers seem to have worldly problems or at the very least have symptoms of worldly problems. Red flag number five. Selling mass ‘enlightenment’ that is not valid.

Another deeply troubling aspect of Sri Nithyananda seems to be the source of his siddhis (powers). There have been countless stories of ghosts and preciously few stories involving divine deities. Placing non-sattvic (non-pure) items in fire rituals such as human hair, marijuana seeds, and red chilies also points to a less than pure divine practice. Leading followers in cemetery tours late at night makes, in our opinion, no doubt that Sri Nithyananda’s source of power is from the graveyard and not from the Divine. Red flag number six. So, what can someone do with all this power? Masquerading dark forces as a Divine presence will have huge karma. Sri Nithyananda might be able to give lots of people very ‘unique’ experiences, which might lead them to believe that Sri Nithyananda really is that ‘divine’ force. This is sad, and we’ll call it fraud. It is our collective experience that Sri Nithyananda’s practices leads to a ‘solid’ and ‘real’ experiences of something that is beyond logic, but results in absolutely no knowledge. This is akin to ‘feel good’ and ‘hallucinogenic’, but zero growth. Even more troubling is that Sri Nithyananda seems to cultivate 'loyalty' and 'gratitude' upon peole who have experienced his sidhis (powers). Addiction to these types of experiences are a disaster to spiritual growth and adds dependency to his followers on Sri Nithyananda.

This source of his siddhis (powers) ties directly into the claims that Sri Nithyananda has made about being God himself. Since he practices graveyard spirituality, how can he possibly claim that he is (or was once) 1. Lord Krishna, 2. Devi Meenakshi, 3. Lord Subramaniam, 4. Lord Ayyappa, 5. Lord Shiva, etc.? How can Sri Nithyananda justify replacing Lord Shiva’s name with his name in holy mantras? We feel that this is Divine identify theft and is red flag number seven.

Similarly, who could doubt that healing practices are not something good? After hearing stories about Sri Nithyananda healed his back after breaking it on a truck ride, etc., who wouldn’t want to reach out and be healed of all those diseases we carry or have our love ones healed? Unfortunately, we have experienced first-hand plenty of times Sri Nithyananda's healing did not work. Even more damaging were his excuses that followed. Marketing himself as an enlightened healing master is at best questionable. We consider this red flag number eight.

Then, there seems to be practices of Sri Nithyananda that nicely fit in the realms of a cult and certainly not in Vedic traditions. These include sleep deprivation, public humiliation, required legal name changes, etc. These collectively break down a follower’s free will and mind to become submissively subservient only to Sri Nithyananda. In addition, we have witnessed his techniques to break up families and play people off against each other. These divisive methods of achieving ‘spiritual growth’ and label it as ‘churning’ or ‘master is working on you’ is manipulative, and these practices are as far away from anything that resembles spirituality as we know it. Sri Nithyananda tricks people into thinking that they are getting spirituality, but instead they get a cult. We consider that fraud. That is red flag number nine.

One of the most quick and effective ways to break up families, replace people’s identity, obtain their savings, and indenture their services, skills, labor, and lives in one clean swoop is to give them sanyasi (monk) initiation. Sri Nithyananda has given out perhaps hundreds of sanyasi (monk) initiations to people who are not qualified for it or have obligations in this world that would preclude them from this practice. To a true enlightened master, giving out sanyasi initiation is no joke; it requires dedication of the master’s life in this life and beyond. Sincere masters often wait years to ensure that the person is qualified and has no other conflicting obligations. To Sri Nithyananda, giving sanyasis initiation it seems to be one more mass method of as an ‘end’ to achieve his ‘means’. Red flag number ten.

Finally, we have seen Sri Nithyananda’s other side. His private side. Yes, in public, Sri Nithyananda talks a very good talk, and seems convincing with his sincerity. In private, however, we have found a very different man. There seems to a strong inclination towards power (wanting to have his own country, as an example), strong desires for wealth, especially gold, and a flair for the private company of attractive ladies. If Sri Nithyananda markets himself as a renunciate, celibate monk, and holy man that is above all these worldly trappings and worthy of being declared as God himself, then it is with great sadness and deceit that the true nature of Sri Nithyananda has been revealed. Red flag number eleven.

To recap, we find all of these red flags (and we’re sure that there are more that our readers will add to this already lengthy list) to point toward a massive, well planned, and organized fraud. Be very clear, Sri Nithyananda’s followers do not benefit spiritually. Sri Nithyananda gains all the worldly benefits and everyone collects huge karma from such a scheme. Such acts gives a bad name to spirituality and tarnishes the hard work of real masters.

Now, some of you might think that if the Sri Nithyananda’s followers are happy to be part of such a scheme, then we should just leave things alone, and let Sri Nithyananda do what we feel is fraud without bothering anyone. That would be easy, and we would have probably experience more personal productivity than bothering to point all these inconveniences out. Yet, we cannot do this. To see what we consider as flagrant fraud, and to turn our backs and look the other way, is not in accordance to dharma. This is much like ignoring the crimes of a drug dealer. The drug dealer has a similar product and people have seemingly ‘good’ experiences from the dealers products, so why not? Well, when others get pulled in and when anyone tries to quit the addiction, they find themselves sadly robbed of everything, their lives, health, money, careers, families, everything. We feel that this is wrong, and we will not tolerate it. Yes, this is what fraud is and what it does, and we are quite convinced that Sri Nithyananda is guilty of this crime. We hope that he stops committing this fraud and starts a vitreous life and inspires others do to the same.

We hope that you now have a better understanding of why we are building awareness to what we perceive as a huge problem.

Thank you for your attention. Jai Maa.

Part 1: Reporting Nithyananda's Fraud to the FBI & IRS

Nithyananda, "I am not a crook."
Paramahamsa Nithyananda, didn't you just make some big legal threat against someone, but haven't followed up yet? Did you forget to pay the piper? After all, you have all that money. How much could the services of a piper cost? "Aaarrrrrugh." Oh, I see, my Gruntanese translator said that you're thoroughly annoyed right now. Sri Nithyananda, we would like to enlighten you about... "AAARRRRRUGH!!! How can you possibly 'enlighten' me!?! I'm PARAMAHAMSA Nithyananda, the 'Enlightened' Healing Master among other honorific titles!?!" Easy, there, Sri Nithyananda. Since you are surrounded by yes-saying-minions that you have thoroughly brainwashed, we just want to let you know that there is something in the U.S.A. that no one is above, and that's the law. "What!?! I'm above everything!" Well, not in this case, Sri Nithyananda. "AAARRRRRUGH!!! AAARRRRRUGH!!! AAARRRRRUGH!!!" Oh, oh. My Gruntanese translator says we better go lightly.

OK, Sri Nithyananda, we'll lighten up a bit. Sri Nithyananda, do you believe in transparency of your organizations? "Be very clear. I am a self-realized, and self-proclaimed, genuine, bona fide, and certified Paramahamsa! I do not answer to anyone, and all of the gods that I say that I'm not an avatar of, they answer to me!" Oh, dear. This might be a long night. Sri Nithyananda, yes, that might all be true, especially in the eyes of your devout following, but here in the United States, everyone is equal in the eyes of the law. Even Richard M. Nixon found that one out, the hard way. "I am not that crook!" Sri Nithyananda, that was almost the quote from Nixon. But, in the United States, no person is above the law no matter how high they have claimed to levitate. "I AM NOT A CROOK!!!" There you go, Sri Nithyananda. That is the correct quote of Richard M. Nixon.

Anyway, Sri Nithyananda, if there seems to be a lack of transparency and some, shall we say, some irregularities, there's a due and fair process to help ensure that every thing is kosher. It does not mean that you are 'in the wrong', but it helps shed light, and perhaps could even correct things that are in a gray zone, but need to straighten up before things go really wrong. Therefore, Sri Nithyananda, I would like to take a moment and let our readers know of some resources where they can get that process started. "WHAT!?!" Yes, you heard me, Sri Nithyananda, I just want to post a few resources so that our concerned readers will feel better and at ease to know that you and your organizations have had the proper guidance to be a legitimate contributor to society. "RRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAUUUUUGGHHHHHHHHHZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!" Oh, Oh. My translator in Gruntanese says that was a sound you never want to hear. I better put on this football helmet and extra thick kneepads. Today, I thought we would give some resources on how to report you and your organizations to the FBI and the IRS.
"RRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAUUUUUGGHHHHHHHHHZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!" Clunk! Oh, my. Sri Nithyananda, you just went into deep samadhi again. My Gruntanese translator just informed me that I'm lucky to be alive and that if Sri Nithyananda didn't go into deep samadhi, that I would suffer a fate of cruelty worse than his ashramites receive. Yikes. I would hate to think what that might be. OK, let's not get Sri Nithyananda out of his deep samadhi. He looks very peaceful right now. I wish his ashramites would get this kind of rest from time to time too.

GENERAL GUIDELINES:
If you would like to initiate some investigations and transparency for Sri Nithyananda and his organizations, it is very important that you be fully grounded in satya (truthfulness). Only report information that you know is absolutely true, and that you have personally experienced. When giving the information, it is best to document these points to the best of our ability:

1. When? Give the time and dates as close as you can.
2. Where? Give the place and locations. Don't worry if this happened outside of the United States, but if it did, say so.
3. Who? Give the names of the people involved.
4. What? Be as specific as possible. Best if you have details such as check numbers, amounts, additional names, etc.

Poor information: Don't give hearsay info such as "My best friend’s brother had a girlfriend and this person said that..." That is weak and not helpful.

Good information: "I personally experienced on September 11, 2007 that Nithyananda said at the Ashram in Duarte, California said to me and these people around 8:00 p.m..... and the amount of the money was $3,000 U.S.D. with check number 588, etc."

Confidentiality: You really need to give your full contact information to the US Government. Your report will have much more credibility than just an 'anonymous' tip with no personal information. Most likely leads that do not have this contact information are discredited. The U.S. Government does an excellent job of maintaining privacy, so there's no reason to worry. You could request along with your information that you remain anonymous so that you do NOT face retaliation or retribution if your identity is exposed (which is unlikely). Your privacy will be fully respected. Guaranteed.

Nationality: Do not worry if you are a U.S. citizen, U.S. Resident, or even a foreigner residing in or outside of the U.S. The U.S. authorities have overseas branches. Let them decide if your information is relevant or not. That's their job. It is best to come forward and give this information when possible. It will be helpful.

REPITITION:
When reporting, it is best to include duplicate information to multiple agencies. For instance, information that is sent to the IRS should also be sent to the FBI. Although the U.S. agencies work well together and share information, this sharing and duplication will speed up the reporting process. Be sure to inform each agency which information has been shared with other agencies. For instance, if you send an IRS Form 13909 to the IRS, you should also send that form to the FBI with additional notes as needed.

REPORTING ORGANIZATIONS:
Below is a list of recognized Nonprofit Organization under Nithyananda. The most important aspect is the Employee Identification Number (EIN). The name and address are helpful, but the EIN is the key. Be sure to include this if you mention a specific organization. Here are all of the charities under Nithyananda that are registered under the IRS Publication Form 78:

* * * * *

Hindu University of America Inc., Orlando, FL USALife Bliss Foundation Inc., Duarte, CA USA

Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam of Columbus, Delaware, OH USA

Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam of Phoenix, Phoenix, AZ USA

Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam of Saint Louis, St. Louis, MO USA

Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam of San Jose, Fremont, CA USA

Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam of Seattle, Redmond, WA USA

Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam Temple & Cultural Center, Duarte CA USA

Nithyananda Foundation, Duarte, CA USA

Nithyananda Foundation Montclair, CA USA

Nithyananda Yoga Foundation Inc. Duarte, CA USA

NOTE: listed under Form 78 with no EIN (not with status of a nonprofit charity) - STATUS IS IN QUESTION:

Nithyananda Vedic Temple of Oklahoma City, OKC, OK USA

We can thank our lucky stars. By a stroke of luck, some Nithyananda supporter posted all of the needed public information about each of the above Nithyananda organizations on the Guruphiliac Forum. To find the all-important EIN numbers as well as the full address of the registered charitable organization, just go to this URL:

REPORTING TO THE FBI
If you have specific information that fits this general category of possible crimes including:

* organized fraud, e.g. selling 'enlightenment'
* specific fraud, such as promising teacher training and then sent do menial volunteer service such as 'flyering', and then not offered a refund, etc.
* illegal immigration racket
* sexual abuse (best information includes first-hand accounts or direct 'eyewitness')
* physical abuse, particularly to children and teenagers which mostly happened in India
* mental and psychological abuse and other brainwashing techniques deployed by cults including sleep deprivations, yelling, humiliation, etc.
* diverting of charitable funds from a 'promised' project to another project, usually outside the U.S. to India.
* all other activities that seem 'fishy' or possibly illegal.

You have three options to report this information to the FBI:

1. Online:
https://tips.fbi.gov/

2. By Mail:
http://www.fbi.gov/contact/fo/fo.htm

3. In Person:
http://www.fbi.gov/contact/fo/fo.htm

If you live outside of the U.S.:
http://www.fbi.gov/contact/legat/legat.htm
(usually, direct3d through the U.S. Embassy)

Online: If you submit online, be sure to fill out the form properly. Unfortunately, there's no ability to send attachments.

https://tips.fbi.gov/

By Mail: If you send by mail, it is best if you include both a hard copy (printed) and a soft copy (burned on CD) with your contact information and brief description of the content on the CD. This will help the FBI agent to place your information digitally (but it is not necessary). It is highly recommended that you call the regional office first to confirm the mailing address before sending the information.

Visiting the FBI Directly
If you plan to visit the FBI directly, be sure to navigate the FBI's location pages on their website. Most major cities have 'satellite' offices or 'resident agencies'. For instance, Los Angeles has ten (10) offices in addition to the field office headquarters. One should be very near you.

Although it takes a little more time, ideally, going directly to the FBI regional office allows credibility that a real and legitimate concerned citizen is coming forward with information. Be sure to include your contact information on all correspondence. As always, your personal information will be treated confidentially and with care. When submitting this information, it is best to provide both a hardcopy and a digital copy (if possible.)

Our personal experience is that the FBI Regional Office has always treated us with dignity, respect, and concern. Just a small etiquette tip, as friendly and helpful as the FBI employees are, they never give out their names. So save your self some awkwardness and don't ask them for anyone's name when you visit.

REPORTING TO THE IRS
If you see anything that looks suspicious that deals with finances (that includes any monetary transactions) with any of Nithyananda's charitable organizations, then you will want to inform the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) (The Federal Tax Branch of the U.S. Government.)

You will need to fill out the IRS Form 13909, Tax-Exempt Organization Complaint (Referral) Form:

The instructions on Form 13909 are very clear. Be sure that all sections are answered as appropriate.

http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f13909.pdf

* * IMPORTANT * *
The most important piece of identification information is the Employee Identification Number (EIN). Be sure to include it for each organization reported.

If you are not certain which of Nithyananda's organizations to name in the 13909 Form, then send duplicates forms for each organization that is in question. For instance, if during the Mission Training 2007, you were promised to receive acharaya (teacher) training, but were told to do menial service without the option for a refund, then you might want to fill out two (2) forms for both 1. The Life Bliss Foundation and 2. The Nithyananda Foundation. Although the information will be the same, it will help the IRS in sorting out which organization should be investigated. Do not worry. It is the same people with the same leader. The IRS will be able to figure it out.

You will need to fill out one (1) 13909 Form for every organization reported. For instance, if you fill out a complaint against the 1. Life Bliss Foundation, 2. The Nithyananda Foundation, 3. Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam Temple & Cultural Center, you will need to fill out three (3) separate forms.

EIN Numbers for Nithyananda's Organizations Available Here

For the one Nithyananda organization that does not have an EIN number, that is the:

Nithyananda Vedic Temple of Oklahoma City, OKC, OK USA

The IRS recommends that you still fill out a 13909 Form and state that this charity does not have an EIN number.

In section 5 of the IRS Form 13909, under "Submitter Information", you might want to check the box that will make your information confidential, specifically, check the box next to: "I am concerned that I might face retaliation or retribution if my identity is disclosed." Your information will remain confidential.

Sending instructions are on the IRS 13909 Form. You may send it via hardcopy through the postal service or as an email attachment (recommended) to the given email address, which is on the form.

You might want to write additional information to the IRS on a separate document. Be sure to include your contact information and the charity in question, including the address, and especially the EIN on all supporting documents.

IRS Reward Possibility: You might be interested to know that there is an IRS reward that you could qualify for. To be eligible you will need to fill out and sign the IRS Form 211 "Application for Award for Original Information" and male that separetly to the Whistleblower Office. You may obtain that form from this link:

http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f211.pdf

Multiple Copies to Other Agencies: Once again, it is highly recommended that you send a copy of all IRS documents to the FBI. You might also want to keep a copy for your own records.

Nithyanandam: The Tale of Three Posts Reveals Our Intentions

Tell-Tale-Signs Help Define Our Response to the Cult of Nithyananda
Yesterday, we had three comments from obvious supporters of Sri Nithyananda. Two of them were like slow balls pitched underhand that said 'hit me' all over them. One of the comments, from "The Anti-Anti" really raised the ante, and was opened for genuine dialog. We'll discuss all three of them in this post.

OK, first up is blogger number one, Sri Nithya Anonymous Sr.:

Dude! Go get a life! If you want to save innocent people from Nithyananda then you should also have raised your voice against all the politicians around the world. They have been looting innocent people around the world. I can't believe idiots like you who have made it fashion trend only to go after spiritual masters. why don't you go after a fraud doctor, politican or somone. Don't give me the BS saying Nithyananda ruined my life. BTW I would have never read this useless blog. Someone other idiot forwarded it to me. Nithyananda or Sathya Sai Baba are doing enough to the community to be cheaters. If people are getting free food and medical facilities by the cheaters then please let these cheaters rule the world not loosers like you who keep writing these huge blogs.

Well, there Sri Anon, there's actually plenty in your post that we agree with, although we must admit that probably wasn't what you meant to write. Let's see, we almost agree with this sentence:

If you want to save innocent people from Nithyananda then you should also have raised your voice against all the politicians around the world.

Hmmmm, if we add the word 'crooked' in front of the word, 'politicians', then we mostly agree. Let's try:

If you want to save innocent people from Nithyananda then you should also have raised your voice against all the (crooked) politicians around the world.

Yes, much better. We actually think that some politicians really do have the good of the people and the world in their hearts and minds first and not just focused on their constituents or their own self-interest. And, at times, they might all seem crooked, but we know this just isn't so. For instance, we feel that Obama is doing his best to help as many people as he can. On the other hand, we have serious questions for the Montclair Mayor, Paul Eaton, who allowed the occupancy rate at the Nithyananda Vedic Temple to more than double without clear cause. Was there a 'pay off' in terms of political promises? We don't know, but feel that it is worthy to investigate. Yes, something smells fishy. We also know that some of the world's corrupt politicians, like Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe probably has had little contact with Sri Nithyananda. So, to make your sentence fully in line, we probably need to add 'that have dealt directly with Sri Nithyananda'. Let's take a look:

If you want to save innocent people from Nithyananda then you should also have raised your voice against all the (crooked) politicians around the world (that have dealt directly with Sri Nithyananda).

Yes. We are highly curious to know why Sri Nithyananda allowed the disaster relief check, of unknown amount, to be presented to the Chief Minister of Karnataka, Mr. B S Yeddyurappa, and not to a known NGO with an established track record. With an NGO, there could be complete transparency to how funds are spent with a known track record to how it helps which people and why. With the government, there's not always that level of transparency, and there is definitely the factor constituents that does not allow for all people to be treated fairly and openly. (To be fair, this happens in all countries, including the U.S.A. and India.)

Handing this check over to the Minister, however, did allow for a nice photo op, with no less than four pictures on Sri Nithyananda's website. Was there any other political gain from this transaction? We wouldn't be surprised if yes.

Back to your comment. Then you say:

I can't believe idiots like you who have made it fashion trend only to go after spiritual masters.

Well, we are not going to go after you for the inflaming term 'idiot', but you will probably get a much more receptive audience if you didn't use the term. We'll ignore it this time. Likewise, we are not interested in 'fashions' or 'trends'. Plenty of magazines are devoted just to that; it's a crowded market. For the record, we are NOT going after spiritual masters. We fully respect TRUE spiritual masters. Shirdi Baba, Ramana Maharshi, Paramahamsa Ramakrishna, Swami Vivekananda, etc. we hold in the highest esteem. In this blog, we are only after one so-called spiritual master, who seems not so spiritual and certainly not a master. That is the self-proclaimed Paramahamsa Nithyananda. We feel strongly that true spiritual masters are embedded in the Truth and do not need to embellish their 'credentials' like birthdays, time wandering, diplomas obtained, etc. One lie in these matters, and just on simple chronological logic at that, his cover is blown. Fake. Phony. Fraud. We have a deep problem with someone who entraps sincere people to slave for his empire and defrauds others by selling fake 'enlightenment'. Why so many of Sri Nithyananda's early followers have left him, deeming that their 'enlightenment certificates' from Sri Nithyananda were not valid? This is our point, and we'll stand by it as Truth. We're not interested in going after other petty thieves such as fraudulent doctors, etc.

Then you go on and say:

Don't give me the BS saying Nithyananda ruined my life.

OK. We won't say anything about your life. We do hope that you continue your education to the point that you can at least express yourself a little bit better in your next post, and challenge us like 'The Anti-Anti' did.

Then you went on to say:

BTW I would have never read this useless blog. Someone other idiot forwarded it to me.

OK. So now that we know that you read things that idiots send you. Fine. Please give us your email address, and we'll be glad to play dumb.

Then you go on to say:

Nithyananda or Sathya Sai Baba are doing enough to the community to be cheaters. If people are getting free food and medical facilities by the cheaters then please let these cheaters rule the world not loosers like you who keep writing these huge blogs.

We fully do not agree with you that Sri Nithyananda and Sathya Sai Baba are on the same level. We all know that we do not have a high opinion of Sri Nithyananda. Obvious. In contrast, we do recognize that there have been some controversies around Sathya Sai Baba. Just the same, Sathya Sai Baba helps keep families together, doesn't do a 'divide and rule, then conquer' approach to his devotees, has done great sincere services in terms of hospitals free for ALL people of any faith as well as providing clean drinking water to all people of any faith, etc.

In contrast, Sri Nithyananda's Mission 2012 in his Nithyananda, Mission & Vision, downloaded on July 23, 2009, is asking for rs 208 Crores (one crore is ten million, rs 208 Crores = $44,559,000 U.S.D. (rate as of Nov. 20, 2009), all of which are for ego projects like stadiums, big university halls, or schools, which can produce more slavish Nithyananda followers. There is rs ZERO (0) Crores or any amount for feeding the poor or doing anything to help the needy of any faith. For the record, on November 7, 2009, we stood up in defense for Sathya Sai Baba:

For the Love of Money, Nithyananda and His 24K Golden Opportunities (Scroll down toward the bottom of the page.)

So, we do NOT feel that your statement represents Truthfulness in lumping two people who have very little in common together and then expecting us to 'buy into' that statement. Sorry. Wrong address.

But, we do fully agree in your words that Sri Nithyananda is a cheater. That we do not have any dispute with.

Next. Blogger number two, Ma Nithya Anonymous Jr.:

This blog is REALLY boring now...you keep talking about the same OLD things...kind of like catty women..soooo boring...do you really think that anyone will continue to visit this site very much longer??? I mean after all you can only listen to the same crap once maybe twice,...Sri Nithyananda is long gone and living his life..you guys are just bad bloggers and think you are onto "something" go get a life...did it ever occur to any of you that who's ever marriages broke up.... uh..maybe were on the verge of a breakup anyway??? etc etc..and whatever else you THINK went on behind closed doors...uh..pathetic...maybe this happened and maybe that happened...bad story writers..all hypothetical crap..ah..let's talk about spelling errors...oh yeah...that sounds like really good reading..blah blah blah...go sit on a toilet...and get your crap out that way...might be a bit more satisfying!!! yeah...that's right...it's a wrap! print that

Our comments to your comments, are you sure you even pretend to be spiritual? Is this how you represent your so-called Master? There seems to be a tone here. As subtle as it might be. OK, we'll pretend that this is a genuine comment. Although our page-hit counter is not working, a few days ago we exceeded one half-million page views. Since you see the reoccurring themes that are within this blog, we can probably attribute a good portion of our half-million page views to you. In an ideal world, we would just need to post something like:

"Nithyananda and his organizations are not spirituality. They are a cult, and there is little Truthfulness that comes out of these organizations. They are designed to defraud you, rob you of your identity, enslave you to work to build Sri Nithyananda's egotistic empire. Careful. Sri Nithyananda acts very differently in private than he does in public. Do not fall for this trap. Stay away."

Unfortunately, there would be few takers to this message. We probably would never prevent anyone from falling for this trap or help anyone get out of this trap. So, we need to give details and reoccurring themes. But, honestly, we really don't say much more than that. So, we accept that you have some truth in your statement. And, we will keep on giving the same themes with the same message. If you really think that it is that boring and you have time on your hands to write replies that exceed 900 characters, then I would suggest a good time management book, or at least a hobby that gives you some satisfaction, like solitaire, rather than be pained by reading all the pages that burst your little bubble of being in La-La Land, and then writing about your 'pain' for everyone to experience your 'pain'. Is that what Nithyananda's 'enlightened' people do?

Yes, marriages are something special, and they should not be broken up over a cult or an egotistic leader. Perhaps one day, you too will value this, but being tightly wrapped in La-La Land, we recognize that it might be a little too much to expect from you at this point.

In regards to your comment about sitting on a toilet, is that the latest meditation from Sri Nithyananda? Perhaps this would be the first meditation of his that could actually lead to a solid experience. But, then considering all of his plagiarized dribble, and judging on the response from some of his followers (that's you), there is no guarantee of this cohesion. Perhaps if you concentrated, with intensity, a bit more, you will obtain the desired results.

- - -

And finally, we have "The Anti-Anti", where two negatives equal a positive, or is it two wrongs make a right? ;-) Anyway, we saw some real dialog, and will be glad to answer your comments, "The Anti-Anti" with the respect that they deserve.:

Anonymous said...
let us be more compassionate while writing blogs as we should remember all are humanbeings ..rather than being against everyone who is favouring sri nithyananda.....lets be compassionate to everyone...

Finally one [published] voice of reason. Look people, it is all well and good to band together because of perceived injustice or whatever it is you are angry about. But, before raging against the Machine, don't forget it is a collective consciousness you are also attacking. That consciousness contains human beings with emotions and feeling and beliefs. They have a right to those feelings and beliefs as much as you have a right to yours.

To the creator/divorced associate of this blog:

Think about how your/your friend's former wife must feel reading all this. Is she still devoted to Nithyananda? If so, are you not hurting her and causing her emotional pain by being so harsh? You label certain individuals "henchmen" and "diseased", forgetting that they are human beings who hurt just like you on the inside? You proudly say "Om Namah Shivaya", but where is your humanity (forget spirituality)?

Because this anti movement is so young, I can see it is still very immature. You guys have NO idea what other large movement insiders have had to endure. I know. We seek resolution in our own lives first by coming to terms with the past. Let us bring healing to our own wounds before attempting to rescue others. It is better to focus on the Self as the world. Because it is.

Disclaimer: Before I am accused of being a "henchman", I have a long personal history with new spiritual movements. I have seen more than my own share of inside dealings. I am speaking from personal experience with no agenda.

Thanks, "The Anti-Anti". We will not accuse you of being a 'henchmen'. We'll elevate you as "Senior Spokesperson for the Henchmen" and will give you diplomatic immunity at least for this post. ;-) We do appreciate your attempt to give real dialog and an air of civility. And, we hope to address your comments and concerns.

First, we're happy that you approve that we had posted something that you consider to be as 'a voice of reason'. Honestly, most comments do get posted. As, long as they are not off-topic, there is truthfulness in them (sometimes they are delayed, as we check), and that the comments do not slam Hinduism or slam spiritual leaders that we consider to be raising consciousness even if there might be some controversies around those people. Note that Osho and L. Ron Hubbard do not fit this model and are fair game to make fun of.) We gladly post comments by Sri Nithyananda's supporters. If they are not polite, your comments will nicely reflect Sri Nithyananda's impact on his followers, and therefore add value. If the comments are well thought of, (like yours, 'the anti anti') they allow for an opportunity to discuss our differences, and show where we are coming from.

To be honest, there have been some requested comments that directly mentioned some of Sri Nithyananda’s followers (both past and present) by name that we have also censored. In those cases, we felt that mentioning these people by name might help bring awareness to the pain that Sri Nithyananda caused, but didn't feel that it was necessary to drag those specific individuals into the fray. So, yes, we censor those comments on a case-by-case basis. On the whole, we do strive to give everyone space, which is sadly not always done on blogs maintained by the Life Bliss Foundation and the Nithyananda Foundation. You know that in your heart, this is true.

The first point we would like to make is that we feel that you do have an agenda and that you're not being neutral to the whole notion. Well, we really do not believe your claim, and we doubt that many of our readers will believe that either. But, in a tempt to balance your integerity and not to discredit you, we feel that you made these statements in order to be heard and to have your ideas listened to. We accept that, and quite frankly, we do listen to all comments. Yes, there is an understanding that is applied to all comments, and when you have a degree of civility, it makes it easier to have dialog.

So, here's the dialog. 'The Anti-Anti', there's a few points that you made that we would like to clarify. First, we completely reject your notion that we are 'young' and 'immature'. We are quite aware of what we are doing, and we're going to go out and do it. These ties into your other point that you labeling us as very 'angry' and to be fair, you didn't use this word, but you also seem to label us as being 'revengeful'. Let the dialog begin. No, we are actually very happy, happy, happy and completely at peace with ourselves. Now claiming that we are happy is going to be reacted with disbelief and maybe even a bit of sarcasm. Fair enough, but we are. Yes, we do appreciate that you, The Anti Anti, did write these points, for we feel that you made these points not to discredit us, but to fit us in a model that you could understand. At least that is what we sensed from your comment. We respect that, but still don't accept that. We don't have anger.

As you already know, we really feel what is going on with Sri Nithyananda and his organizations is dreadfully wrong. You will say 'no', and we accept that. But, honestly ask yourself would a true enlightened master create nine years of stories in a four and half year time span? Would there be any controversy over the enlightened masters' date of birth? Would the enlightened master ever claim to have an engineering degree that he has no proof of ever obtaining? Would an enlightened master ever make up a story of creating a statue of Osho as his 'gift to enlightenment'? Would an enlightened master ever change his story of the location of where he received his final enlightenment (future post)? Just on basic logic, there are serious questions whether if Sri Nithyananda is based on the Truth or not. This alone should be a red flag.

Then even more questions need to be asked. What are some of the standard techniques of brainwashing? Would sleep deprivation, public humiliation, yelling, withholding attention and then showering it on others inconsistently be some of these basic tools (future post)? Has Sri Nithyananda and his key Maha Acharayas ever done this? Would slowly but intentionally separating followers from their families, spouses, children, their careers, and society be a good thing? Would this tend to make the follower even more 'indebted' and dependent to the 'enlightened' master? Why has Sri Nithyananda replaced his name with Divine's name in mantras and slokas (future post)? Is Sri Nithyananda above than Lord Shiva? Why doesn't Sri Nithyananda make up his own mantras instead of corrupting existing mantras? Why is Sri Nithyananda so obsessed with his image and fame? Is he a spiritual leader or a rock star? Why does Sri Nithyananda have his own lawyer and bodyguards? What actually is happening in fire rituals that use non-sattvic (pure) items are being used? Is something dark happening? Why all the devotee tours into graveyards? How come no other enlightened master before Sri Nithyananda was able to offer up mass 'enlightenment'? Why have six (6) of your original 25 'enlightened' followers left? Does something not add up here? Please think. We beg you to do that.

Then the there is the message, why do so many of Sri Nithyananda's books and ideas that seem to have been borrowed ideas from others (future post)? Why is there always this subtle message within these scriptures to 'only trust an enlightened master', to 'unclutch' from everything except an enlightened master? What are the actions of the organization? Is true charity happening in proportion of the money coming in? Or is it just a few photo ops and networking opportunities, while the majority of the funds are earmarked to be spent on big projects that directly benefit or channel back into the 'enlightened' master's empire? And, finally, is it not wrong for the followers to know that this is lifestyle that is not offering 'Light' but darkness, poverty, and despair, but to actively recruit others to come into this trap (future post)?

We really do not like what we see. We know from firsthand experience that Sri Nithyananda has trapped some of the best people on this planet. We would like to see this stopped. No one, even those that have done dark practices, including Sri Nithyananda himself, deserve to be in this trap. So, we will shine the brightest light of Truth into this dark region. And, at times, it might hurt.

Let's use the analogy of a big burning building. There is urgency. Danger is immediate. We do not want anyone to enter that building (no new recruits) without at least letting them know what potential dangers are inside. The lure of a 'happy lifestyle' and 'easy enlightenment' are great. Who wouldn't want that?

The people inside the building are in a cocoon of La-La Land. They think they are happy when they know things are not as they thought they would be. Yet, the cling to this cocoon tightly while they sleep; refusing to see the danger at hand. As the building burns, do you think that a soft nudge and plead to 'rise and shine' will work? Perhaps a snooze alarm with nice, gentle music? We don't think so either. What is needed is a shove, a yell, a blow horn, an awakening. Do you think that this is a fun task to do? Do you think that there is joy in this? To go around, trying to awaken people who are deeply asleep in their cocoon and do not want to be awaken, and just let them burn... alive!?! Which is worse, to try to wake them up and receive their unhappiness, or just walk away and let them all burn. We know which one is easier. And, we do look forward to starting our lives over again. But for now, we cannot just walk away. We have to try. Therefore, we will do and say anything against whatever odds just to try to wake up these beautiful beings and risk whatever we have to try to get them to see, to move away, and to get out of this trap. Yes, this might seem cruel and heartless at times. We don't expect anything. No thanks, no glory, no fame, no cash reward. It pains us just to imagine the hurt of 'waking up'. Yes, we do have the expectation that we did the right thing and stayed on the path of dharma (righteousness), and let it go after our efforts have been made. We do realize that resistance to wake people up will be huge. Names have been called, mystery phone calls received, threats delivered, even legal procedures have been used to intimidate us. Yet, we cannot just look the other way. Saving just one person is worth any inconvenience or loss received. We think you know the identity of some of the contributors of this blog. That is fine. You need to ask yourself about how these persons behaved while they were near you and what was their character. Then ask yourself if this is consistent to these persons' intentions. We really want the best for you. And, we'll fight hard for you. You are worth it.

Now, many of you insiders are going to read this with absolute amazement along with other emotions that will probably not vibrate very highly. That is fine. This is pure churning... when Truths hit all of the ingrained programming and all the time and money invested in this scheme. Living the lie of La-La Land and the thought of coming out will not be gentle. But, when things do not go right and you are able to claim that 'Swami is working on you' or 'Swami is churning me', and you swallow and submissively accept this as 'growth', why cannot you do the same thing here? Didn't even Sri Nithyananda quote Paramahamsa Ramakrishna when he said, "Ninety-nine percent of our fears never come true. The one percent that do come true are good for us." Still, we expect you to resist and create responses like the first two above. That is fine. We have no harm in mind, but we do know that it will hurt. And, it pains us too.

We will do anything to get you out of this trap, and if that means we need to name names, we will. If you can think of a way that does not seem hurtful to you and is effective in helping you see the Truth, we will be glad to adopt this tactic. Just let us know. We look forward to your input.

Yes, we have named names in the past. And, probably will name names in the future. We, specifically, will name the names of those that used the cover of Sri Nithyananda's protection to carry out actions of adharma (unrighteousness). We will also continue to name the names of those that know firsthand about the dark practices of Sri Nithyananda, yet actively and successfully recruit others into his sphere. The karmas that are being collected from these activities of actually knowing, yet still getting others to fall in this trap are huge. Even those that do not know, but still help to recruit others are collecting karmas. Although this might be an innocent act of not knowing and thinking that it is right, it still collects karma. We don't want you to see you obtain these karmas. Yes, as much as you will question this, our motives our out of compassion. Nothing more.

So, many of you inside Nithyananda's community will be glad to tell us what we can do with our compassion. Your sleepy cocoon of La-La Land is nice and warm, and it is no one's business, (lastly ours) to butt into your business. Before you fire off that comment, please take a moment to consider these points. As you are now with this organization, what will be your future? What if you have worked very hard for years with Sri Nithyananda, given him all your material wealth and assets, etc., but then decide to go back to 'civilian' life? Will you have the resources available to start over again? Will Nithyananda's Foundation give you a 'settling-in' grant for the years of hard work? What will your lives be like when you retire? Will Sri Nithyananda really take care of you? How has he treated old people before who were directly under him (his private life, not his public life)? Is Sri Nithyananda happy when old people come to his lectures? Really? Probably a closer example will be how does Sri Nithyananda treat others who still love Sri Nithyananda and worship him, but are no longer in his organization? Is this really the compassion of an 'enlightened' master? Is this worth a lifetime of devotion and service?

And, finally there is your own behavior of 'compassion' and 'humanity' that you have accused us as forgetting. Please look into the mirror and remember how your group treats others. If this is truly a spiritual organization with 'enlightened' members, then compassion, love, and forgiveness will a be abound. (No, I'm not expecting any handouts, thank you.) But, within your own group, are their any scapegoat victims that you referred to in your comment? If this is a cult, then there will definitely be the "Us" vs. "Them" mentality. And, when the churning starts, those in the cult now will be looking at others members who you were once held close in your hearts as a "Them". Is this the treatment that is going down there at the Ashram? If it is, mind you, you are in a cult. Don't mind the churning; it will pass too.

Thank you for your attention to this rather long post. May everyone be blessed.
